About

Twenty-five years spanning public service, business and nature - turning ambitious ideas into programmes and strategies that actually work.

I help circular economy and food systems leaders turn early-stage ideas into practical, fundable programmes.

Many important initiatives start as strong ideas but never become real - because they're too early, too vague, or too complex to deliver. I work with NGOs, coalitions and businesses to shape, structure and build multi-stakeholder programmes that can secure funding and move into real-world delivery.

That means sharpening the idea into something concrete, bringing the right partners together, building a credible path to delivery, and staying close enough to make sure it actually gets off the ground.

I'm at my best in the messy middle - when something matters, but isn't fully defined yet. I'm known for helping people think bigger while staying completely grounded in what's actually achievable. Progress over perfection, always.

I also think this work should be energising - and in my experience, it is. The best programmes I've been part of have been places where people felt hopeful about what was possible, not just clear about what needed to be done.

For nearly seven years I held senior leadership roles at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, where I designed and delivered global initiatives including the Big Food Redesign and the Fashion ReModel - securing multi-million pound philanthropic and corporate funding, and working with businesses, innovators and policymakers to translate circular economy principles into action.

Before that, I spent eighteen years in UK local government working in social housing and economic regeneration - understanding at close quarters how systems either work for people or fail them. That grounding has shaped everything I've done since.

I work across scales - from global coalitions to local organisations - because good ideas need shaping at every level. Current clients and collaborators include WWF, Food and Land Use Coalition (FOLU), World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary.

I'm also a regular keynote speaker, facilitator and panel moderator on circular economy and food systems transformation.

If you're working on something important that hasn't quite taken shape yet, I'd love to talk.
